Sellers in one country list their products on an e-ommerce platform that caters to international customers.

Platforms like Amazon, eBay, and Alibaba are popular for cross-border sales.



Buyers Make Purchases

Buyers from other countries browse and purchase these products online.

They pay in their local currency, and the platform often handles currency conversion and payment processing.


Shipping and Delivery

Once a purchase is made, the seller ships the product internationally to the buyer.

This involves handling customs, taxes, and import/export regulations.


Customer Service

The seller or the platform provides customer service to address any issues with the order,

such as delays, returns, or refunds.

 

Cross-border e-commerce is a big difference from traditional e-commerce.

Traditional e-commerce companies have to purchase and ship goods themselves.

But these things are not necessary for overseas e-commerce.

I'm only responsible for putting things on the shelf. I'll restock when the customer purchases.

So I don't have to stock up. Shipping is also done directly from overseas warehouses.
When doing cross-border e-ommerce, the most important thing is the platform and product selection we choose.
